So February is creeping up on us!. That’s right it’s nearly been a whole month since you set your New Year’s Resolutions. So the question is – How are your New Year’s Resolutions going? Do you have a healthy New Year nailed? Will you be starting February on track with a whole month of healthy eating, workouts completed, recipes cooked, lunches prepared, booze given up behind you… or are you still finding your feet?
I would probably put myself on the “finding my feet” collective. I’ve had good intentions to eat healthy, clean and fresh, to complete more workouts, but I don’t think I’ve given it my all. My eating is about 70% there and my workouts have only be consistent for the past 2 weeks.
Whichever boat you find yourself in, there is no need to be hard on yourself or give up now. There are still 11 months left to the year, plus many people give up their resolutions come January 7th! There are many tips on how to stick to New Year’s Resolutions however I find people need to find something that motivates themselves. Different things work for different people – so what motivates you to stay on track?
For me it’s all about wanting to feel good about myself and to keep me on track I surround myself with fitspiration on social media, invest in some clever technology to encourage me to stay on the move and have a few constant reminders.
