I’m pleased to say that this week has been a good week. I’ve stuck to my healthy dinners, I’ve started Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide workouts and feel healthier already.
Looking at the photos above makes me realise I need to include more greens on my plate and that sweet potato is becoming a bit of an obsession of mine! So this next week I aim to include some different veg on my plate.
This week I received the results of my York Test Food Intolerance Test* and was shocked to see that there are a number of things my body struggles to digest. This included beef, turkey, lamb, cows milk, coconut and duck! Thankfully I don’t eat much meat but it’s making me rethink my diet. As a result I downloaded the Deliciously Ella app which is filled with recipes that are free of meat, dairy, sugar, gluten and anything processed or that includes chemical and additives. So this next week I’m going to be eating some of her recipes.
This week I also completed week one of the Bikini Body Guide. I completed all three of the circuits and the two LISS workouts. The circuits are intense! I had the worse DOMS after leg day – even with lots of foam rolling! I am enjoying the workouts though – short but intense! Week two is apparently tougher so lets see if my opinion changes this time next week!
