A good running shoe is always worth the investment and research is vital. To be honest as an amateur runner who just does it for the fun of it, I hadn’t heard of Brooks until my brother was showing off his new Brooks trainers before running a race I was supporting him on. He was raving about them and saying he wouldn’t run in anything else so I was desperate to give them ago, so when their latest release the Brooks Adrenaline GTS15* arrived on my doorstep I was very excited!

Brooks is a brand who focuses on running shoes and apparel and is passionate about creating running shows that genuinely enhance the runner or fitness fans experience. Their latest release the Adrenaline GTS15 is an updated version of the Adrenaline GTS14.

To test out my new trainers I’ve decided to start an Advent Running Streak. I’ve read of running streaks in Women’s Health before and think 12 days is the perfect length for me – plus it will give me the kick up the backside to ensure I continue to workout in the run up to Christmas. I know many started an Advent Running Streak on the 1st December – so I am late in starting. However I am happy to do a shorten 12 Days of Christmas Running Streak and am looking forward to testing out my new trainers to their fullest!

Are you taking part in an Advent fitness kick? Have you tried Brooks trainers before?
