Waking up in the morning can be hard enough, so when you’re challenged to Wakeup and Workout it can be even tougher! But that’s what Everything But The Cow have been challenging bloggers to do.
They’ve set a 4 week challenge with the help of Ramona Braganza, trainer of Hollywood stars like Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes. So I’m hoping that come the end of 4 weeks I will have a body like Jessica alba (wishful thinking)! The Wakeup and Workout Challenge is designed to fit onto your everyday routine and requires minimum equipment – just a mat, some music and an Everything But The Cow shake.
The challenge is aimed to help you start the day in the best possible way, so you are left feeling energised and ready for the day ahead. The example they give is;
-6am: Wake-up and drink 1/2 a carton of Everything But The Cow Shake and 1 glass of water
– 6:30am – 7:00am- Complete the blogger challenge
– 7:30am – Drink the second 1/2 of Everything But The Cow with breakfast and 2 glasses of water.
The Everything But The Cow Shake is a blend of soya protein and 20% real fruit, so it’s perfect to give a quick energy boost prior to the workout and then repair muscle tissue after a workout.
I’ve just completed week one of the challenge and am moving onto week 2 today.
Week one could of gone a little better for me, I managed to get the workouts in, but I didn’t get chance to eat breakfast before heading to work. So I need to be more prepared. Typically I would wake up at 5.45am, have half the shake, complete the 5 abs moves shown above, have the other half of the shake then get ready for work and leave the house at 7.30am.
This next week, I’m going to be a little more productive in the morning and ensure my breakfasts are already prepared so after my quick morning workout I can grab breakfast then get ready for work!
Wish me luck!
